I'm an abstract painter working in oil and watercolor. My work exist around improvisation and/or decision making. I'm interested in the materials/references that are helping me make decisions in seemingly improvised paintings. Materials are coming from my family such as, photos, home videos, cassette tapes, and conversations. The paintings are where everything attempts to come together. They're the sites where things riff, bounce off of (respond or react to) and I'm the one who imposes some type of order.
